The National Journal of Physiology, Pharmacy and Pharmacology (NJPPP) publishes its scholarly content under the Creative Commons Attribution-NonCommercial 4.0 International License (CC BY-NC 4.0).
This license supports the free and responsible dissemination of scholarly knowledge while protecting the rights of authors and restricting commercial use without appropriate authorization.
1. Copyright and Author Rights
Authors retain copyright in their work, subject to the terms of any applicable publishing agreement with the National Journal of Physiology, Pharmacy and Pharmacology and its publisher.
Publication in NJPPP does not prevent authors from exercising the rights granted to them under the CC BY-NC 4.0 license or from sharing and archiving their work in accordance with the journal's self-archiving policy.
2. Rights Granted Under the License
Under the CC BY-NC 4.0 license, users may, subject to the license conditions:
Share: Copy and redistribute the material in any medium or format.
Adapt: Remix, transform, and build upon the material.

3. License Conditions
Attribution
Users must give appropriate credit to the original author(s), cite the source, provide a link to the CC BY-NC 4.0 license, and indicate whether changes were made.
Attribution must not suggest that the original author(s), NJPPP, or its publisher endorses the user, the user's use of the material, or any adapted work unless such endorsement has been expressly authorized.
NonCommercial Use

No Additional Restrictions
Users may not impose legal or technological restrictions that prevent others from exercising rights granted by the CC BY-NC 4.0 license, where prohibited by the license terms.
4. Adapted Material
Users may create adaptations of NJPPP content for permitted non-commercial purposes. Adaptations should clearly indicate that changes were made and should not be presented in a manner that misrepresents the original work or implies endorsement by the authors, NJPPP, or its publisher.
5. Third-Party Material
Not all material appearing within an article is necessarily covered by the article's CC BY-NC 4.0 license. Where an article contains third-party material subject to separate copyright or licensing terms, those materials should be identified appropriately.
Users are responsible for determining whether additional permission is required before reusing third-party material.
6. Responsible Use of Published Content
The CC BY-NC 4.0 license does not remove the responsibility of users to respect applicable copyright, privacy, ethical, database, trademark, or other legal rights that may apply to particular content or circumstances.
