Open Access Policy

1. Open-Access Principles

The National Journal of Physiology, Pharmacy and Pharmacology (NJPPP) is a fully open-access journal. All published articles are freely and immediately accessible online without subscription or institutional access charges.

Readers may access, read, download, search, and link to the full text of published articles without charge. Articles may also be shared and reused in accordance with the terms of the journal's Creative Commons Attribution-NonCommercial 4.0 International License (CC BY-NC 4.0).

NJPPP supports the principles of open and unrestricted access to scholarly research and is committed to making published research available to the scientific community and the public.

2. Immediate and Permanent Online Access

All articles published by NJPPP are made freely available online immediately upon publication and remain accessible through the journal's website.

Each published article is assigned a unique Digital Object Identifier (DOI) through Crossref, where applicable, to support persistent identification, citation, discoverability, and long-term accessibility.

NJPPP does not impose embargo periods on access to its published articles.

3. Copyright and Licensing

NJPPP publishes articles under the Creative Commons Attribution-NonCommercial 4.0 International License (CC BY-NC 4.0).

Under this license, users may:

read and access the published work;
download and reproduce the work;
share and redistribute the work in any medium or format; and
adapt, remix, transform, and build upon the work for non-commercial purposes,

provided that appropriate credit is given to the original authors and the source, a link to the license is provided, and any changes made to the original work are indicated.

4. Author Rights

Authors retain copyright in their published work while granting NJPPP the necessary rights to publish and disseminate the article under the CC BY-NC 4.0 license.

Authors may share and distribute their published work in accordance with the terms of the CC BY-NC 4.0 license and applicable journal policies.

5. No Subscription or Access Charges

NJPPP does not charge readers or institutions subscription fees to access its published content. All published articles are available online without registration or payment.

Open access to the journal's content is maintained independently of the ability of individual readers or institutions to pay for access.

6. Open-Access and Editorial Independence

The open-access status of NJPPP does not affect the editorial decision-making process. Manuscripts are evaluated according to their scientific quality, originality, relevance, methodological rigor, ethical compliance, and suitability for the journal's scope.

All eligible manuscripts undergo the journal's established double-blind peer-review process, and editorial decisions are made independently of the authors' ability to pay publication charges.

7. Long-Term Availability

NJPPP is committed to maintaining continued online access to its published scholarly record. The journal supports appropriate digital preservation and archiving practices to help ensure that published articles remain accessible over the long term.
