Welcome to the National Journal of Physiology, Pharmacy and Pharmacology (NJPPP) website. NJPPP provides access to scholarly publications, journal information, manuscript-submission services, and related academic resources.

2. Published Scholarly Content and Licensing
2.1. Open Access
NJPPP is a fully open-access journal. Published scholarly articles are freely accessible online without subscription barriers or embargoes.
2.2. Creative Commons License
NJPPP articles are published under the Creative Commons Attribution-NonCommercial 4.0 International License (CC BY-NC 4.0), unless a different article-level licensing arrangement is clearly stated.
Subject to the terms of the applicable license, users may copy, share, reproduce, and adapt licensed articles for non-commercial purposes, provided that appropriate attribution is given, a link to the license is provided, and any changes are indicated.
The CC BY-NC 4.0 license governs reuse of the licensed scholarly content. Nothing in these Terms of Use is intended to restrict rights expressly granted under that license.
2.3. Restrictions on Journal Branding
The CC BY-NC 4.0 license does not grant permission to use the NJPPP name, logo, trademarks, website branding, or other publisher or journal identifiers in a manner that suggests endorsement, sponsorship, affiliation, or authorization without appropriate permission.
3. Intellectual Property
The National Journal of Physiology, Pharmacy and Pharmacology name, journal logo, website design, branding, trademarks, service marks, and other materials associated with the journal may be protected by applicable intellectual property laws.
Unless otherwise indicated, these elements may not be reproduced, modified, or used commercially in a manner that suggests an affiliation with or endorsement by NJPPP or its publisher.
The copyright and licensing status of individual scholarly articles is governed by the applicable article-level license and publishing terms.
4. Acceptable Use
Users must use the website lawfully and responsibly.
Users must not:
attempt to gain unauthorized access to the website, submission system, servers, databases, or other restricted systems;
introduce malware, viruses, malicious code, or other harmful software;
interfere with the operation or security of the website;
use automated systems to access the website in a manner that places an unreasonable burden on its infrastructure;

submit fraudulent or deliberately misleading information;

5. Manuscript Submission and User-Submitted Material
Authors and other users may submit information and materials through the journal's designated submission systems.
By submitting material to NJPPP, users represent that they have the necessary rights and authority to submit that material and that its submission does not knowingly violate applicable law or the rights of third parties.
Submission of a manuscript does not transfer copyright ownership to NJPPP unless expressly provided for in the applicable publishing agreement.
The rights and obligations relating to submitted and published manuscripts are governed by the journal's applicable Copyright, Licensing, Open Access, and Self-Archiving Policies.
6. User Responsibilities
Users are responsible for the accuracy and legality of information they provide to NJPPP.
Authors are additionally responsible for ensuring that submitted manuscripts comply with the journal's requirements concerning:
authorship and contributorship;
originality and plagiarism;
research integrity;
ethical approval;
informed consent;
conflicts of interest;
funding disclosure;
data availability;
copyright and permissions; and
applicable artificial intelligence requirements.
7. Editorial and Publication Decisions
Nothing in these Terms of Use alters NJPPP's editorial policies or peer-review procedures.
Editorial decisions are made independently in accordance with the journal's editorial and peer-review policies. NJPPP uses a double-blind peer-review process for manuscripts subject to external peer review.
Neither access to the website nor payment of any applicable publication-related charge guarantees acceptance or publication of a manuscript.
8. Third-Party Submission and Publishing Services
NJPPP may use third-party platforms and service providers to support manuscript submission, peer review, publishing, DOI registration, website operation, hosting, archiving, indexing, analytics, payment processing, or other publishing functions.
Where applicable, users may also be subject to the terms and privacy policies of those third-party services.
NJPPP does not control the independent policies or technical operations of third-party service providers. Users should review the relevant third-party terms where appropriate.
8.1. Manuscript Submission System
NJPPP uses eJManager as its manuscript submission and editorial-management system.
Authors using eJManager are responsible for providing accurate information and complying with the applicable requirements of both NJPPP and the submission platform.
Third-party service providers may process information necessary to provide their services, subject to their applicable policies and contractual arrangements.
9. Website Availability
NJPPP endeavors to maintain the availability and functionality of its website and online publishing services. However, continuous or uninterrupted availability cannot be guaranteed.
Temporary interruption may occur because of:
maintenance or upgrades;
technical failures;
hosting or infrastructure problems;
internet or telecommunications disruptions;
cybersecurity incidents; or
circumstances beyond the reasonable control of NJPPP or its service providers.
NJPPP will take reasonable steps to restore services following significant disruptions.
10. Accuracy of Website Information
NJPPP seeks to ensure that information published on its website is accurate and current. However, website content may occasionally contain errors, omissions, outdated information, or technical inaccuracies.
